Aaron McDonald recently moved from Dundee to Forfar, selling his flat in just six days, 8% over the valuation price with RSB Lindsays.
What prompted you to make the move from Dundee to Forfar?
"I’m from Kirriemuir originally and I’ve lived in Dundee for the best part of the last 10 years. But my partner lives in Forfar, and we decided to look for a property together. In terms of selling the property, it was the perfect time. Properties were going for higher values, sales were going through quickly, and we had got my flat into a great condition, ready to be sold."

"The whole experience from start to end was very positive. My contact at Lindsays got the ball rolling, which was great, arranging for the home report and the photography.
When you do something as big as selling your home, it’s the first couple of steps that are the most difficult, so it was good to have Lindsays’ support on that. As soon as the photos and the home report were completed, they got the property listed on the market within a day. And then on that very first day, I got a text to say they had already arranged a viewing.
Things then snowballed and within days we had 8 or 9 viewings! The flat was listed on the Wednesday and I had an offer submitted from a cash buyer on the following Monday."
