We are delighted to welcome our new trainees who started with Lindsays as we continue our investment in the next generation of lawyers
We are delighted to welcome eight new trainees who have now started work with Lindsays in our latest intake - they join various departments at our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Perth.
In recent years we have generally recruited four or five , but our continued growth has brought with it greater opportunities.
Our new starts have been recruited following a competitive recruitment process which attracted a high calibre of applicants. The eight who have started their training are:
- Cheryl McDonald, Residential Conveyancing (Perth)
- Evie Campbell, Private Client (Glasgow)
- Kara Valentine, Private Client (Edinburgh)
- Kathryn Short, Personal Injury (Glasgow)
- Kirstie Cameron, Private Client (Dundee)
- Rachel Lind, Commercial Property (Edinburgh)
- Rebecca Nally, Employment (Edinburgh)
- Summer Meekison, Private Client (Perth)
Our firm has a proud history of training lawyers who finish their careers as they started them – at Lindsays.
Managing Partner Alasdair Cummings said: “I was a trainee with Lindsays myself, so I know from personal experience the rich opportunities which can come from a successful traineeship with the firm.
“It is a time which teaches about the law in practice and how it affects the people and businesses who trust us to advise them. Importantly, though, it also embeds our people-first ethos of putting relationships before transactions. This is something people carry with them throughout their careers, which is partly why we have such a strong record in training first-class lawyers.
“At Lindsays we have a proud past. But we continually invest in both the future of our firm and the wider Scottish legal profession through our trainees’ scheme.”
Over the course of two years, each trainee will gain experience across a range of different areas of law.
