An article in the Guardian recently described Dundee as a “… little pot of gold situated at the end of the A92”. I couldn’t agree more. Dundee born and bred makes me more than a bit biased but not without good reason.

For location

Nestling on the banks of the silvery River Tay, the location has been described by Stephen Fry, Former Rector of Dundee University, as “ludicrously ideal” with a beautiful collection of parks, open spaces and pristine beaches all on offer.  And due to the stunning south facing position Dundee averages more sunshine hours than any other city in Scotland.

For education

Dundee is home to great schools, colleges and two fabulous universities.  The University of Dundee has just been awarded Scottish University of the year 2017 - another welcome feather in the cap attracting even more students, young professionals and families alike to our vibrant city.

For sport

Tayside is a prime location for golfers with the world-class golf courses of St. Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles all within a 30 mile drive.

For business

A city which is experiencing one of the UK’s most extensive re-generation projects means there are exciting times ahead for businesses. The well publicised £1 billion Waterfront development will include an urban beach and marina. Great travel links by rail and bus throughout the UK and Dundee Airport has just recently added direct flights to and from Amsterdam.

For culture

The opening of the much-anticipated V & A Museum in 2018 as part of the Waterfront development will secure Dundee’s place on the global cultural map.

So whether you are considering a new home or an investment, many opportunities exist for businesses and individuals alike to invest in this warm and friendly city. With a buoyant property market where you can still get great value for money, Dundee offers a fabulous selection of both old and new properties in enviable locations.

If you have yet to visit Bonnie Dundee, come and see for yourself as there is no time like the present to be part of the city’s bright and exciting future.
